Established client in the Traveler's Rest area is seeking an experienced QC Inspector! The QC Inspector will primarily be responsible for inspecting parts and products to ensure conformance with standards, inspecting materials/products using fixed or variable measuring instruments, checking for irregularities or defects, and comparing parts with defect codes and/or sample models to verify specified dimensions. This starting pay is $12-13/hr DOE and the work schedule is on 3rd shift Mon-Fri 11pm-7: 30am with weekends and OT required at times. Great benefits when hired including medical and on-site nurse! Duties:
- Works to reduce customer complaints and external/internal rejection rates
- Uses all inspection equipment & performs tests as directed:
- Fills out computer report (QC Molding-Production Analysis)
- Samples at prescribed intervals and inspects (samples)
- Issues problem slips to as necessary, based upon knowledge of molded parts
- Re-inspects after corrections have been made
- Sorts and salvages parts, as instructed
- Affixes labels and release stickers to boxes to authorize removal from molding
- In post inspection, inspects released materials/products in accordance w/established sampling procedures.

Education & Requirements
- Microscope use
- Computer knowledge
- Ability to measure defects and pass judgement on acceptability
- Ability to perform basic math equations
- Understand and practice safe work habits
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Quality Control procedures.
- Prior QC experience
- Required to bend, stand, walk, lift, and differentiate color
- High School Diploma or GED
